WHO WE ARE

Welcome to Villa93

We purchased the property in December 2017 with the ambition to continue to develop the orchard property and share this beautiful home and location with you, our guests. We are lucky to be centrally located between two beautiful beaches, Mt Maunganui and Waihi Beach and all that is on offer in-between.

Jacqui is a chef by trade and you will enjoy waking to the smell of freshly baked goods to enjoy with your morning coffee/tea while waiting for your gourmet breakfast.  Local produce is sourced where possible for meals as well as including home grown vegetables, herbs and fruit from the garden. Dietary requirements are catered for please advise at the time of booking.

All of the guest suites have been furnished and individually designed, complete with new beds, luxury linen and accessories supplied for your comfort.

For information on local attractions please also check out “what’s on” below.  Our visitor information centre on the main street of Katikati is a great place to stop in and gather information pamphlets on what is going on locally and in the surrounding areas.

We have one well loved pet resident, a little black cat called Nala, who is a little shy so you may not see much of her.

Villa93 has been built to take in the view of the beautiful Kaimai Ranges, we hope you love the view as much as we do, and wish you an enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Downtown Tauranga has several historically significant areas to view during a scenic walk around the area. The Strand waterfront area is modern and always buzzing, and is home to a number of cafés, restaurants, pubs and nightclubs.

From the base of Mount Maunganui, a white sand surf beach stretches as far as the eye can see. Catch a wave or cruise the many cafes.

Head 5 minutes north towards the "Mural Town", better known as Katikati. More than 35 works of art in and around the main street - murals, sculptures and carvings - pay homage to the town's early Maori and pioneer residents, and its timber milling and farming heritage. There is also a magnificent tribute to the men and women who left the district to fight in overseas wars. You can pick up a mural guide map from the information centre.

Katikati is also home to a 'Haiku Pathway', boasting the largest collection of Haiku’s outside of Japan.
